Play a sweet song or meditative melody by plucking the steel keys of a Baby Grand Kalimba, an eight-note thumb piano made from the wood of an old piano. Since the wood used for each kalimba is unique, no two look exactly alike. Your kalimba may vary in appearance from the one in the photograph.
I take beyond-repair used pianos and disassemble them to make lovely things from all of their parts, saving them from the landfill. This kalimba gives that old piano a second chance to make music!
What about old pianos that are not beyond repair? I will donate 10% of the profits from each Second Chance Pianos sale to an organization that will fix the pianos and give them to people or community centers that can use them.
